1. The fuel tank of the motorcycle has two oil outlet, the main one and the vice one, they are controlled by a valve. Under normal circumstances, the gasoline will flow into the engine from the main oil outlet , there is a level in the motorcycle gas tank for the controlling of the flow, once the oil below the level, the engine can not get the gasoline from the main oil outlet, and this time the valve will switch to the vice oil outlet and the engine can get the oil from the bottom of the tank, the purpose of this design is to remind the driver, there is not enough oil in the motorcycle petrol tank, it need to refuel in time.
2. In general, when the engine can not get the gasoline from the main outlet and need to switch to the vice oil outlet, it need to refuel in time, this can make the motorcycle travel 30-50 km.
3. When using motorbike, it need to often switch valve for the outlet, this can avoid only using the main oil outlet, the residual oil being accumulated for a long time at the bottom of the tank, and the oil outlet being blocked by the precipitation of impurities, once that happens, it is still unable to start the motorcycle when switch to the vice oil outlet even if there is oil in the motorcycle tank.
4. The air-tightness of motorcycle fuel tank is generally not as good as the car’s, after getting wet in the rain, the water is easy to flow into the motorcycle gas tank, the gasoline is lighter than water, there will be water in the bottom of the fuel tank, this time once refuel, the water, oil and ethanol will be mixed, this will cause the motorcycle unable to start or occurring flame-out without any reason.
